The day started with her calling my name in her crib to come get her and take her downstairs. The first thing she does is look for her brothers so she can start the day doing whatever they are doin... I think she has MAJOR FOMO. After we got her brothers ready and off to school we headed to Waco, TX to soak in the silobration for Magnolia and chomp on some of the food trucks (Donut holes). The trip was quick since baby girl was being a DIVA and totally over having fun and getting drenched in the rain.

Penelope is a firecracker that legit keeps me on my toes and has no problem letting me know how she feels every second of everyday.

Her Blessing on Christmas Day 2016

Shopping with mommy in Seattle

She has a thing for chins and necks literally has her hand on one of them when I am holding her....still to this day does it!

Some things I want to remember about her:

She loves to read books and sing 'Teach me to walk in the light' every day and I sometimes hear her singing it while she plays.

She is into stuffed animals, coloring on my walls, taking her diaper off and going comando all over the house. We have had a couple instances that her taking off her diaper turned into me scrubbing walls, baskets, couches and tons of baths. She is for sure my hardest child and also my last. So she gets a lot of passes and I just try to soak up all the memories I can while she is little.

She loves pizza and ask for it daily. She is my big eater that loves meat and anything with sugar in it.

She started talking around 18 months...way ahead of her brother when they started making sense around 3~4 years old.

She is a mommies girl and I am totally ok with that.

She doesn't like clothes and we legit fight every morning to get her dressed. She strips naked the second we walk into the door.

She has a black front tooth from hitting it in a table when she was little and it turned into a cavity. The dentist put some stuff in it that turned it black and I am so sad about it. Luckily it is not permanent and it will fall out in 3~4 years...haha.

Penelope is truly loved and cherished by her family and friends. She is my last babe here on earth and I am soaking up every second I can. I thank God for her everyday and try my hardest to be the parent that she needs to raise her in this ever changing world.

Happy Second Birthday Penelope!

Love,

Dad, Mom, Mason and Teddy
